By Tahmid Ahmed     May 5, 2012 in Sports
Norwich's Steve Morison scored a late goal to tie the game. Both Arsenal and Norwich have one game left to play before the end of the season.
This game was an exciting one from start to finish. Arsenal's Yossi Benayoun opened up the scoring in the first minute of the game to give his team a 1-0 lead. In the 11th minute, Wesley Hoolahan tied the game. Norwich finished the 1st half with a 2-1 lead thanks to Grant Holt's goal in the 26th minute.
The Gunners were pushing for a comeback in the 2nd half. Robin Van Persie scored a goal in the 71st minute which helped his team tie the score. Van Persie was a one man wrecking crew, as he scored another goal in the 79th minute helping Arsenal get the lead. This was Van Persie's 30th goal of the season.
The game was far from over, however. In the 84th minute, Norwich's Steve Morison equalized the score.
This draw was a setback for Arsenal. Arch rival Tottenham and Newcastle have both played one game less and are only 2 points back of the third rankedGunners. Both have a chance of overtaking Arsenal in the rankings if they both win their next game. Newcastle will be facing Manchester City and Everton in their 2 last games while Tottenham will play Bolton and Aston Villa in their remaining games.
Arsenal will play their last game of the season against West Bromwich on May 13th.
