Kobe Bryant did not have a beautiful day on the field: The 2010 finals MVP shot 7-23 and turned the ball over 6 times as the Lakers fall to the Denver Nuggets in game 3.
Kobe Bryant has been an amazing player in the playoffs throughout his career. Tonight's game, however, was a very forgettable one for the future Hall of Famer. Bryant was not the only one struggling from the field: Teammates Steve Blake, Ramon Sessions, Matt Barnes and Devin Ebanks shot a combined 10/31 from the field. Matt Barnes' poor shooting performance might be due to the unwillingness of coach Mike Brown to limit his minutes despite an ankle injury. The Lakers as a team shot 24% from 3 point land and 37% from the field.
Ty Lawson led the Nuggets with 25 points and 7 dimes. Rookie Kenneth Faried had yet another impressive game as he scored 12 points and grabbed 15 boards.
Denver will look to tie the series at two apiece as they face the Lakers Sunday night at 9:30 p.m Eastern time.
