A small village of Agassiz, located at the eastern end of Lower Mainland has been a host of the tulip festival since April 18th.
Located in a picturesque setting of local mountains, still covered with snow, easy accessible for the city of Vancouver dwellers, the tulip field at the eastern end of Highway 7 has been a busy destinations for many visitors to see variety of colourful tulips since the mid of April.
Parking lot for $Can5 for a car and access to the flower fields for $Can3 for adults was a great occasion to admire the tulips in full bloom last weekend. The Tulip Festival in Agassiz was a great competition for similar tulip festival of LaConner in the state of Washington. In many cases people preferred visiting smaller and of lower rank Canadian festival while avoiding long lineups before crossing the border to the USA with larger and more spectacular looking colourful fields of flowers.
