It had to be frustrating for Justin Bieber in 2011 as he put up with false accusations from Californian Mariah Yeater that he fathered her son after a concert the year before. Yeater was after money and fame and acted in a dishonorable manner.
Since Bieber took that paternity test and Yeater dropped her lawsuit and slinked off into the disreputable night we haven't heard from her. Bieber's legal team likely made it known a jail term would be her fate if she continued to accuse their client of doing something he hadn't done. But while we haven't heard from her, her name has now been brought up again, by Bieber himself.
Bieber tweets to Mariah Yeater
In a questionable move, and one that could be called mean, Bieber has sent out a tweet directed at her, his words followed by a video clip of the actor Sacha Baron Cohen playing his character Borat intoning "You will never get this, you will never get this, la la la la la la."
So here's what Bieber tweeted her: "Dear mariah yeeter...we have never met...so from the heart i just wanted to say...". He then has a link to the video clip and the 'you will never get this." Why is that mean? Because despite the nasty nonsense Yeater pulled off, fact remains she's shown she's not stable and that bringing up a child alone is not going well (she, too, is young). She doesn't deserve his sympathy, but neither should he mock her.
The move is out of character for an 18-year-old who, in the three plus years that he's been in the public eye, has behaved with class and spent time, effort and money in helping along numerous causes that contribute positively to the lives of others. Let's hope he rethinks his tweet and in future decides to leave the subject of Mariah Yeater alone.
