Fuengirola - Spain is, undoubtedly, one of the most photogenic countries in the world. But it's not just the every day, touristy views that are of interest to the photographer.
Ask any photographer, whether amateur or professional - they love taking photos that are a bit out of the ordinary.
When a photographer walks the streets, everything is seen with that famous "photographer's eye".
A ruined house, paint peeling on a door, or just a whole bunch of rust are manna in heaven for them.

Strolling in a fishing harbour can produce stunning images of reflections in the water. The clear Mediterranean light produces beautiful reflections, like this one of a dredger visiting Fuengirola:

Don't know about you, but I see zebras in this one!

Even normally ugly construction sites can be of interest to the photographic eye. Here is an image taken through a plastic pipe:

Hotels can even have their attractions. This image was taken in the Hotel el Puerto in Fuengirola:

Every year during the annual Feria (fair) in Fuengirola, silk flags are hung in the town plaza - eye-catching for the photographer:

And sometimes, just looking through a gap in the wall gives you a surprising image.

Walking through a tunnel under the street has its moments too, although admittedly this one had a little Photoshop help:

I hope this has inspired you to experiment with your camera. Sometimes the results can be worthy of framing and displaying in pride of place on your wall.
