Just above Arroyo de la Miel (River of Honey) in the town of Benalmádena Costa you can take the ride of a lifetime.
A cable car runs to the summit of the 769-metre Calamorro mountain, providing panoramic views of the coast, the Sierra Nevada mountains, Gibraltar and on clear days, even the Moroccan coastline.
The Benalmádena Cableway (Teleférico Benalmádena) offers a spectacular 15-minute trip in comfortable and modern cablecars, each with capacity for 4 people. The route runs from the Benalmádena coast to the top of Calamorro mountain, one of the most elevated enclaves of the Costa del Sol, at nearly 800 meters above sea level.
Enjoy exhibitions of predatory birds, with hawks, eagles, owl and vultures and on occasion, spectacles of the taming of Spanish horses and various adventure sports.
Adventures available for your trip include mountain climbing and mountain walks with footpaths that lead to different viewpoints. There are also paths for mountain biking for the really adventurous.
A cafeteria serves tasty meals, with fantastic views and on summer nights, you can enjoy the multitude of stars in the clear Mediterranean sky.

- Arroyo de la Miel stop - then stroll up to the cable car which is situated next to Tivoli World.
The cable car costs 13 Euros per adult and 9.80 Euros for children. (Prices subject to change).
