TMZ is reporting the pop star is set to become a judge on the X Factor for $15 million in the show's second season if the deal is approved.
In a TMZ exclusive Britney Spears is reportedly set to become a judge on Fox's the 'X Factor' during it's second season. Spears will be filling one of two empty chairs after judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger both left the show in late January of this year.
The day before her death, The Hollywood Reporter stated sources were saying Whitney Houston was approached with the opportunity to also be a judge for the show.
TMZ went onto report that the X Factor executives are putting the final points on Britney Spears' contract, however the major terms have been agreed to. Once the deal is signed it will go to Britney's father Jamie Spears who is her conservator as well as her attorney's after a Court Commissioner placed them in control of her personal and financial affairs in 2008 according to USA Today.
TMZ also reported that Britney Spears' fiance Jason Trawick was also playing a major role in the X Factor deal.
If the deal is finalized, which TMZ is reporting is a certainty according to their sources, Spears is set to rake in more cash then her predecessor's, Paula Abdul received $2.5 Million for her time on the X Factor and Nicole Scherzinger reportedly received $1.5 Million.
The X Factor refused to confirm or deny the report according to TMZ.
