Hey guys, have you ever wondered if that special lady in your life gets excited to see you? Well, here's a new high-tech dress that may answer your question.
Dutch design group
Studio Roosegaarde has come up with a way to merge high-fashion with high-tech to produce a new dress aptly named "Intimacy 2.0."
The new garment is the brainchild of Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde and responds to the wearers' heart rate becoming transparent as blood pressure rises.
Made of leather and opaque smart e-foils, the high-tech garment reacts to different variations in electrical current produced by the body. "Social interactions determine the garment's level of transparency, creating a sensual play of disclosure," notes its designer.
Currently available in
two colors, "Intimacy White" and "Intimacy Black," the Studio suggests (
for those celebrities daring enough and confident enough) that either version of the high-tech dress would be, in their words: "daringly perfect to wear on the red carpet."
For all you ladies out there thinking; Where is the male version? Never fear,
Studio Roosegaarde is looking to take the idea to the next level and is currently in the process of selecting designers to develop "Intimacy 3.0," a fashion line for both men and women.
