Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, 64, attending the Sixth Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, took time off from the grueling routine of her official schedule to party all-night long at a Colombian nightclub on Saturday evening.
ABC News reports photos taken at the Cafe Havana showed Mrs. Clinton, a few hours after attending an official dinner for the heads of state and government, dancing with her hands in the air and swigging back a bottle of beer with friends. She was dressed in a casual black dress and jewelry, with her hair loose, a departure from her usual scrunchies hair-style and two-piece suits.
Yahoo! News reports State Department spokesman Mark Toner, said Clinton had "a very good time and was just enjoying some of the nightlife in Cartagena with colleagues." In answer to the question whether her actions were appropriate, given the recent Secret Service sex scandal, he said: "It's kind of a 'dog bites man' story. You know, there's nothing to it."
Daily Mail reports that the summit was disturbed by three explosions on Friday. Left-wing guerrillas are suspected in the explosions.
According to Daily Mail, after the weekend of partying, she showed no signs of a hangover as she traveled from Colombia to Brazil on Monday in continuation of her South American diplomatic trip.
