MONROE - Michigan-based La-Z-Boys Incorporated have developed an Internet reclining chair. Imagine this! The standard recliner is fitted with WebTV system. A fold-out table with Sony
removable wireless keyboard lets you access the Internet from across the room. Just kick back, relax and you’re connected.

The setup allows you to use your TV as a computer monitor to surf the Internet, send e-mail all from the comfort of your reclining La-Z-Boy Explorer.

"Now you can access the Internet from the most comfortable seat in the house," says Kevin Wixted, director of marketing for La-Z-Boy. "The Sleek and inviting "Explorer" recliner is designed to make going online easier and more relaxing than ever before."

For those who wish to use their laptop in the Explorer, the chair has a built-in surge protector and high-speed data access, as well as a standard dial-up connection.

Right arm conceals a convenient beverage holder and roomy storage for remotes, videos, magazines, etc. Left arm houses the fold-out table, WebTV keyboard and AC/data adapter.

Fabric Explorers sell for about US $1,000, and the leather version goes for about $400 more.
