London - In 1972, Jethro Tull released a concept album. Forty years later, main man Ian Anderson appeared on the BBC morning news programme to announce a follow up.
The man behind Jethro Tull is flute player and vocalist Ian Anderson. This morning he appeared on the BBC's Breakfast TV programme where he explained the original Thick As A Brick to talking heads Bill Turnbull and Susanna Reid. And the follow up. Although Anderson still has a beard, his hair is a bit thin, but the talent is still there and the fire still burns.
Some background information to Jethro Tull can be found on the band's website - where else? Like their fellow British rockers UFO, Jethro Tull have been around since the 1960s.
Currently, the man from SongFacts has 12 Jethro Tull recordings in his database, including, arguably their best known song, Living In The Past.
