When Arnold Swartzenegger said "I'll be back", he wasn't kidding. Now he's trying to rescue the Terminator series of movies by bringing in Terminator 5.
While Arnold Schwarzenegger, former Governor of California, slammed the latest Terminator movie as "awful", it seems he wishes to continue the series.
Not only continue the series, but also to star in the next movie in order to save the image of the iconic series. It could just be the salvation of Terminator.
The last Terminator movie, "Terminator Salvation" was released in 2009. Christian Bale and Sam Worthington starred in the film.
This was the only movie made in the Terminator series that did not star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Now the Terminator himself is to truly come back.
Collider.com film website quotes the famed actor as saying: “I’m open to all those things, if it’s True Lies, Terminator, a well-made Terminator…the last one was awful. It tried hard, not that they didn’t try, the acting and everything. It missed the boat,”
Schwarzenegger has apparently been bored since stepping down as Governor of California and is quick to announce his plans to return to the movie industry.
Terminator 5 is due to hit the screens around 2014.
