article image'The Wall' to be erected at Wrigley Field

Chicago - If it's April in Chicago, it means baseball season has started. For fans of Wrigley Field it also means the concert season on the north side is closer as well.
This summer promises to be a solid one for those who attend and the countless businesses surrounding Wrigley. It wasn't that long ago when Wrigley Field sat dormant when the Cubs were out of town. That all changed one Labor Day Weekend when Jimmy Buffett was the very first concert held at the legendary ballpark.
Off a memorable season last year that saw the likes of Paul McCartney, the field will once again play host to a legendary act.
The Wall will be erected at the park, and we are not talking about the Green Monster in Boston, or even the new additions to the park this year. No, this is The Wall, as in Pink Floyd.
Announced and written about earlier this year, the shows at Wrigley are now almost here, so let's take a look at who will be playing, again, with an update or two.

Country takes over
Meanwhile, on June 9, a country flavor invades Wrigley. Brad Paisley's Virtual Reality World Tour features quite a lineup. On tap (along with Paisley ) are Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, The Band Perry and Jerrod Niemann.
This show just finished the first leg of the tour and it proved to be a success. It has been announced that they have expanded the tour to include 43 more venues. This Wrigley Field show in June will surely be a party. After the Wrigley show, the tour heads to Cleveland, OH.
Wrigley Field is located at 1060 W. Addison in Chicago. Call the box office at 1-800-THE-CUBS.
