Lady Gaga generates a lot of media space but she's not generating as much of late. The Fame Monster is keeping a promise she made to Oprah Winfrey and is not talking to the media. But she is communicating with her fans.
"After 1.5 months of grueling rehearsal the stage is now fully built and set up for the last three weeks of preparation. Took my breath away," she tweeted on April 6 about preparations for her 'Born This Way Ball' tour. Then in response to fan @saveetha12, who tweeted Gaga and asked for a photo of the stage, Lady Gaga responded with a: "I don't wanna ruin the surprise!"
Lady Gaga: No more media
Gaga, who also tweeted recently about her driving lessons, declared she would not be talking to media anymore on 'Oprah's Next Chapter,' which aired March 18 on Winfrey's OWN network. She sounded firm about her intention to stop the talk. "Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time," she said from the living-room of her parents New York apartment that she grew up in.
"No press, no television."
Despite the preparations for her 'Born This Way Ball', which opens in Seoul, South Korea on April 27; she could be promoting the heck out of it with media interviews and going on talk shows, but she hasn't. The tour takes her to Hong Kong, Tokyo and other cities in Southeast Asia before heading to Australia and New Zealand and on from there.
