It's shaping up to be the biggest Wizard World show ever and the Midwest's No. 1 Pop Culture Convention. And it's only April. That means the August event will keep growing as celebrities continue to hop on.
It has been announced today (April 5) that the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con will feature at least 50 celebrities as of right now. The event is a full four-day show and it takes place August 9-12 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
"Wizard World Chicago Comic Con continues to grow in all areas, from celebrity guests to Artist Alley to evening entertainment to VIP experiences, so much so that we've made it a full four-day show for the first time," said John Macaluso, CEO, Wizard World.
"The celebrity list includes headliners like William Shatner, Jeri Ryan, Stan Lee, Jon Bernthal and WWE® Superstar CM Punk, artists Carlos Pacheco, George Pérez and Greg Capullo. Others are signed up as well," added Macaluso.
This announcement comes on the heels that Chris Hemsworth ("Thor" and "The Avengers"), will headline Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on June 2.
