In a YouTube video of Rick Santorum giving a speech, he may have almost been caught out making a verbal slip-up about President Barack Obama, allegedly.
RT reports that the Republican presidential hopeful was about to make a potentially campaign killing slip of the tongue.
Huffington Post and TNT magazine also reported on the speech.
When making a speech to supporters in Janesville, Wisconsin, Santorum was harshly criticizing Obama's policies.
Santorum said: “We know the candidate Barack Obama, what he was like – the anti-war government nig…, er the er the, America was a source for division!” he stammered.
After this utterance a silence seems to grip the room, but it is unclear why. Was this a slip of the tongue, or did Santorum really mean to say the "n" word?
Have a look at the video and decide for yourself.
