The video posted to YouTube on March 22, shows the big dog riding in the trunk of a SUV in the German town of Boblingen. According to Daily Mail
, Boblingen is near the European headquarters of the U.S. Marine corps. Nick, Chuck's master, according to Yahoo! News
, had served eight months in Afghanistan.
When Katie, his master's wife shouted "Daddy's home," Chuck, within moments of realizing what the shout meant, leaped out of the car trunk and bounded at full speed to his master, Nick.
The video shows the moments of furious canine euphoria impossible to express in words. Nick's wife Katie, can't hold her feeling of envy at Chuck getting all the attention. She says: "He's getting a longer welcome than I did."
This is Chuck's second welcome-home viral hit. He achieved YouTube stardom in February 2011, when a video showed him, a much younger looking dog, unable to contain himself at his beloved master's return home from deployment (see second video
reports Katie uploaded the video to YouTube.
