Ron Paul put Piers Morgan in his place during an interview on Monday by telling him not to pester him with silly questions about why he doesn't pull out of the GOP race. He made it clear it is "Way too soon for you to write anyone off."
During an interview on the Piers Morgan Tonight show Piers came straight out and said "The situation is looking pretty terminal. Why don't you just do the decent thing and pull out?" Dr. Paul responded with a pithy "Why don't you just do the decent thing and not pester me with silly questions like that."
Dr. Paul made it clear that Gallop poll figures which put him in fourth place on nine percent do not mean the race is over. He stood his ground saying he is not ready to throw in the towel whilst there are important issues to be debated. He also expressed a quiet confidence that his campaign is doing well on delegates, with most states still working through the process. According to KTBS Dr. Paul is running in fourth place in the delegates count, with just 71 of the necessary 1,144.
Digital Journal reported on March 26 of a Romney-Santorum-Gingrich campaign to block Ron Paul from winning delegates, exposed by Doug Wead. Alex Hayes was caught on camera speaking of the need to prevent the savagery of the opposition, namely Ron Paul, from prevailing.
