The UK School Games, sponsored by Sainsbury's, is taking place in London near the Olympic Park on May 7 and May 8 this year.
The Scottish team, created by coach and
Olympic torch runner Ken Rose, for the event has been announced by Scottish Fencing, and include Niamh O'Donnell from
West Fife Fencing Club and Chloe Dickinson from
Dunfermline Fencing Club, both of which are well known fencers nationally for foil.
Calum De Sainte Croix from Wallace Fencing Club has been selected for Men's foil, Alex Monk and Ian Russel, both from West Fife Fencing Club, have also been selected for the event.

The
UK School Games has been described by Scottish Fencing as "a fantastic multi-sport event, like a mini Olympics."
The competition encompasses all nations of the United Kingdom, with each nation submitting their own team based on their
current ranking in British Fencing.
