Controversial conservative pundit Rush Limbaugh has been offered sponsorship by the Westboro Baptist Church after he lost almost all other sponsorship.
Rush Limbaugh has lost at least 140 advertisers after calling Georgetown University law student, Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute" on his radio show because he disagrees with her position that health insurers should provide coverage for birth control. There has been a massive backlash across the internet causing Premiere Networks to suspend all national advertising from his show for two weeks, as Huffington Post has reported.
It seems Limbaugh may have finally found a friend. The Daily Mail claims that The Westboro Baptist Church, known for picketing the funerals of military veterans and celebrities and promoting an extremely homophobic and caustic fundamentalist message, has offered to sponsor Limbaugh.
The content of the advertisements they might provide is unknown.
