Gerber Good Start Gentle formula recalled

Gerber Products Company and the United States Food and Drug Administration issued a recall for Gerber Good Start Gentle formula.

The company is recalling only one batch of the 23.2 ounce plastic packages of the powder formula with the product number "GXP 1684." The expiration date for the recalled batch is March 5, 2013. Although the formula does not pose any health risks, numerous customers have reported that the formula contains an “odd smell” and some customers have reported minor gastrointestinal symptoms as well as spitting up slightly more than usual.
