Phoenix - A mysterious explosion that appeared in the background during a traffic report in Phoenix, Arizona, baffles newsmen and authorities alike. Speculation grows over a possible UFO incident.
Fox 10 news reporter Andrea Robinson was in the middle of a traffic report when an explosion of white light appeared in the distance behind her. It turned out that no transformer had blown as first suspected, and the authorities had no explanation at all. Similar phenomena are a common occurrence in the skies south of Vancouver, BC.
This has led to speculation that the explosion might be connected to a UFO incident, such as the appearance in 1997 of a formation of orbs above Phoenix. The incident still remains a mystery.
Similar explosions are common in the skies south of Vancouver, British Columbia, and are often attributed to lightnings or just ignored as weather phenomena. King George Highway in Surrey, south of Vancouver, is referred to by some inhabitants as "Ufo Alley."
