Los Angeles - Mary Hutchinson, a 75-year-old woman, is suing CBS and the creators of "Let's Make a Deal" after going to watch a show being recorded in Los Angeles.
Hutchinson claims that the chairs at the studio used during the recording were not bolted down and she sustained injuries after falling. Although she reports that she was not sitting down when she fell, she states that the reason she fell was because she was walking through the studio towards her seat, rested her arm on the chair for support, and the chair fell over.
Hutchinson states that she suffered back and neck injuries, although no broken bones have been reported. She now believes that CBS created a dangerous environment for viewers and, due to her suffering, she is demanding over $25,000 for damages.
The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court due to her claims of the accident that occurred in 2010.
