Video of snowboarding opossum becomes Internet sensation

The winter season may have ended at Liberty Mountain Ski Resort in Pennsylvania but the popularity of one snowboarding enthusiast continues to grow after a video of a opossum named Ratatouille taking to the slopes was posted on the Internet.

Meet Ratatouille...possibly the only known snowboarding opossum in the world and definitely the only marsupial riding a board in Carrol Valley, Pa. Ratatouille has become an Internet sensation after footage showing him riding a Burton Riglet Snowboard was posted on the ski resorts website, Facebook wall and YouTube channel. The video has taken a viral surge landing the normally solitary and nomadic creature on the morning news circuit. The opossum has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America and ESPN's Sportscenter Top 10 since his debut on the world-wide-web. Word continues to spread on Twitter about his snowboarding skills as his fan base grows. The popular viral video has seen over a million views and hundreds of likes since it was first posted online.
