Toronto - Thousands of performers representing 40 countries will fill the Toronto nightlife landscape with music at 60 nightclubs over five nights during the 2012 Slacker Canadian Music Fest.
The 30th annual cultural celebration comes alive in the city’s entertainment district on March 21 and continues through March 25. This year’s festival, which is part of the greater Slacker Canadian Music Week, is expected to draw over 100,000 music fans to witness more than 4,500 local and international musicians.
One of the concerts drawing plenty of attention features Grammy-award-winning guitarist Slash, member of notable bands like Velvet Revolver and Guns N’ Roses. The show will take place at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on March 23.
