BarelyPolitical may be a little late in Internet timing with their parody of the viral video of the father who shot his daughter’s laptop over a Facebook post, but they are still racking up views on their version of the now famous YouTube video.
Its been just over two weeks since Tommy Jordan posted his "Facebook Parenting: For the Troubled Teen" clip on the video-sharing website and its popularity has created the hottest viral craze of the year.
The video of the enraged father shooting his daughter's laptop has garnered over 26 million viewers and 312,000 likes since it was posted online.
As with anything on the Internet that gains international attention along with it goes a parody of the incident that is creating quite a stir among fans of the original video.
Written by Mark Douglas, Bryan Olsen, and Todd Womack and posted on YouTube by BarelyPolitical two days ago, the much-liked parody has already seen over a quarter million views and accumulated 11,000 likes.
It feature a look-a-like Tommy Jordan and his disobedient 'daughter' Hanna as they exchange rants on everything from Hanna's diary and secret computer use, to Tommy's IT skills and personal accomplishments, to parenting troubled teens in general, and the cleaning lady.
The video ends with Tommy and Hanna Jordan both in Hell as a consequence of their actions.
