There are untold stories of faith in Hollywood and come Feb. 24, celebrities will gather to proclaim it. The Gospel Goes to Hollywood Awards Luncheon will take place in conjunction with the historical Taglyan Cultural Complex.
The invitation-only event will tell stories of faith in Hollywood and will also include a special tribute to Whiney Houston. That tribute will be presented by CeCe Winans. There will be performances by Donnie McClurkin and Angella Christie.
"Oscar Week will never be the same," said event producer Tomeka Holyfield.
The show is co-hosted by actress Wendy Raquel Robinson of "The Game" and actor Terry Crews from"Everybody Hates Chris" and the upcoming film "The Expendables 2." Apparently this isn't the first time this event has taken place.
Holyfield summed it up this way. "After receiving such an overwhelming response last year, in L.A., during NBA All-Star Weekend, we're very excited to bring this event to Hollywood. It's an awesome platform FAITH, and we're confident of this event becoming a must attend event for years to come!"
Again, the event is Feb.24 from Noon to 3 p.m. at the Taglyan Complex, 1201 N. Vine Street in Hollywood. "We're honored to host Gospel Goes to Hollywood Awards Luncheon," says Gary Taglyan of the Taglyan Complex.
