article imageThe British Freedom Party (BFP) continues to expand

By Richard Milnes     Feb 19, 2012 in Politics
The British Freedom Party has announced expansion plans with a new group formed in Kent and plans to develop the BFP’s presence in Spain and Gibraltar.
The BFP website has announced the formation of a new group in Swale, Kent. Graeme Sergeant will become the local organiser.
South West and overseas
The BFP website also reports that Roger Bennett has been appointed Regional Co-organiser for the South West. He will oversee Somerset and Devon, whilst Peter Mullins will continue to have responsibility for Cornwall.
Roger Bennett is Chairman of the Brent Group, which recently decided to support the British Freedom Party. The Brent Group is described as being “an unaligned, pro-British body”.
Future strategy
The BFP looks set to emulate the success of other ‘Freedom Parties’ across Europe and capitalise upon the vacuum for a moderate political party that will be prepared to tackle problems, such as the gradual Islamification of Europe.
The BFP has forged ties with the English Defence League (EDL), an organisation that peacefully protests against Islamic extremism.
