Guests announced for Whitney Houston's funeral

The official guest list for the funeral of Whitney Houston – which will be held tomorrow afternoon – has now been released.
According to the BBC, Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown and the Hollywood actor Kevin Costner, whom the singer co-starred with in The Bodyguard, are among those to have been invited to the private service at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, USA.
Meanwhile, singers Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Houston’s cousin Dionne Warwick and Stevie Wonder will all be performing at the funeral, and Houston’s musical mentor, Clive Davis, will speak to the assembled guests.
As reported by Digital Journal on Monday, Whitney Houston was found dead last weekend. She was 48. Earlier this week, Digital Journal also reported on the date of the late singer's funeral, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Houston family had agreed that the private ceremony could be broadcast live. According to Streaming Media, "Viewers will find the stream on AP’s Livestream site. In the UK, the proceedings will be streamed via the BBC News website from 17:00 hours GMT (12:00 hours EST).
According to CNN, other invited guests include Valerie Simpson. In an interview with Piers Morgan, Simpson said, “Her record is her music. That incredible voice […] It had everything – it was elastic, it had meaning, it had range, it had soul, it had pop sensibility and an ability to interpret a lyric in a way that made you feel it.” Houston covered Simpson’s “I’m Every Woman” in 1992.
