The world of the iPad is set for a new addition as an online source says Apple will be announcing in March details of its newest iPad. That same source suggests the iPad may hit the market a week or so later.
'All Things Digital', or All Things D, is an online site focusing on startup company news and all things connected to digital technology. Writer John Paczkowski determined, though he didn't reveal his source, that the iPad3, if that's what it is to be called, will soon be a reality.
Apple to intro iPad 3
Paczkowski said that his source tells him the announcement of the coming of the iPad3 will take place in San Francisco, likely at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, a place Apple has used previously to introduce new products. The iPad2 tablet computer was introduced to the world on March 2, 2011 at the center.
There is no suggestion that the iPad3 will be a huge departure from its predecessor. Paczkowski suggests that in addition to increased running speed it will likely have an enhanced Reina Display and an "improved graphics processing unit." No word on price.
