London - London in the United Kingdom, is obviously getting nervous about its hosting of the summer Olympics this year. Who are they expecting to attack?
According to RT news, London is introducing all kinds of surveillance ready for the Olympics, costing around 1,6 billion dollars. This at a time of severe economic crisis in the United Kingdom.
Prohibitive measures include ground-to-air missiles, drones and even warships.... are they getting ready for the Olympics, or war?
The Independent and Metro also reported in November last year that "Scotland Yard ready to use radio controlled 'eyes in the sky' to boost surveillance."
In the video below, RT's reporter Ivor Bennett reports on these extreme surveillance measures, as well as the fear of serious privacy issues.
