This year's BAFTA awards are to be presented by none other than the glamorous style icon Miss Piggy. She anticipates that Hollywood luminaries will be thrilled to chat with her, describing the opportunity as a likely pinnacle of their careers.
International diva Miss Puppet is to be the official red carpet host of the British Academy Film Awards ( BAFTA) this Sunday at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden. The glamorous pink pig is in London to promote the opening of her new film "The Muppets" which premieres on February 10.
An official press release on February 6 said "Orange today announced that, in her own words, “international star, role model and diva,” – the fabulous Miss Piggy – is set to put her unique questions to the great and the good of the international movie scene at this weekend’s Orange British Academy Film Awards ceremony as the host of its ‘Orange BAFTA Red Carpet Show With Miss Piggy." (The Hollywood News)
Miss Piggy is reportedly thrilled to be presenting at such a prestigious event packed with Hollywood's finest. The Telegraph reported she said ''Imagine the likes of Clooney, Dujardin, Fassbender, Oldman and Pitt achieving the very pinnacle of their careers by getting a chance to speak with the one and only moi – Miss Piggy! Naturally, I will be asking questions that only moi would dare to ask." Fans of Miss Piggy will be eagerly anticipating the frock which will will adorn the red carpet in.
Miss Piggy was in the news just a week ago when Digital Journal reported she joined her illustrious co-star Kermit the Frog at a news conference in which she couldn't resist attacking Fox News as laughable.
