Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has revealed that in order to get his children going in the mornings he feeds them Coca-Cola to give them that elusive energy boost.
Daily Mail reports that he had this to say in defence of his parenting strategy:
"Listen, I admit there’s times like, "We gotta get up. Get up! Here’s your shoes. Here’s your shoes.
I'm like: 'Drink this Coke. Drink this Coca Cola. Drink it all. Right now! Drink it! Drink it! Drink it!' Just so we could get ‘em up and going."
This admission coming from such a high-profile celebrity is sure to result in criticism from healthy eating groups and healthy living experts.
This admission came on the Today Show, in which he sat beside 'Moneyball' co-star Jonah Hill this morning, to discuss the Oscar-nominated film's chances at the Oscars later on this month.
NY Post also reports that Pitt is set for an appearance on the famous 'Inside the Actor's Studio' TV show.
He was offered the chance to be interviewed by host James Lipton in 2004. but turned it down, claiming he did not have a sufficient body of work. But having now been nominated for an Oscar, he will make an appearance on the show February 10th, which airs on Bravo.
