A short video clip showing a herd of sheep running circles around a moving car in Russia has quickly become an Internet favourite after it was posted on YouTube, amassing nearly a million hits in less than two days.
The video, which originates from the Caucausus region of southern Russia, shows the flock of frenzied sheep forming a cyclonic-like circle around a car much to the amusement of onlookers.
No amount of urging, including beeping the horn, revving the engine, and slowly moving the car forward, was enough to stop the sheep from continuing their circular stampede around the automobile.
The viral video has entertained 850,000 web viewers and has racked up over 7000 likes from YouTube fans since it was posted online.
One commenter on the popular video sharing site said that when sheep are scared they will run in circles.
Another well-liked comment summed it up by saying: "Ewe shall not baaaaass," while another simply said: "Come out with your hands up, we have you surrounded."
