The clumsy Brazilian bank robber, along with three accomplices, stormed into the bank by shooting out the glass in the doorway.
Once inside the bank, located in northern Parana, they rounded up the bank employees and made their way to the vault.
"All appeared to be running smoothly for the trio of thieves as the security guards quickly capitulated and the bank tellers handed over around 30,000 Brazilian reais ($17,000) to them," reports
the Telegraph. Until the man serving as the look-out accidentally shoots himself in the foot.
The hapless robber can be seen from a different angle as he limps out of the bank following his partners in crime as they make their getaway.
The man was arrested the following day when he sought treatment for the bullet wound at a local hospital.
