article imageSweet Play, the customizable chocolate for chocolate gourmets

By Nancy Houser     Jan 23, 2012 in Food
French designer, Elsa Lambinet, in coordination with Swiss chocolatier Blondel, has come up with the world's best experiments for her Master thesis. Her "customizable chocolates" indulge individual fantasies based on personal tastes.
Titled "Sweet Play," chocolate gourmets around the world can compose desserts made from three types of chocolate units: white, dark and milk chocolate. Each specially-slotted unit of chocolate can be designed with all kinds of fun stuffing and toppings, slices of caramel, nougat, wafers, berries and fruit slices, with liquid toppings like honey and jams.
'Participants get to mix and match ingredients for hours and hours as they gorge themselves on custom confectionery goodness," Lambinet said in her thesis. There's no word on whether these ingenious luxury chocolates will make it to market unfortunately.
Born in France, Elsa Lambinet has received her masters with honors because of her project based on project. According to her website, her projects shaped many articles which featured in renowned papers including the New York Times, Intramuros, Citizen K, Etapes and L'Officiel du Design 2011 ...
Oh, by the way, Elsa needs a quality chocolate maker for an event needing 2,500 chocolate pieces. Know anyone? For French, "Je cherche une chocolatier pour les réaliser. J'ai une commande de 2600 chocolats pour mai!"
