Manchester - The results are coming in and the numbers suggest that former Governor Mitt Romney as the projected winner in the New Hampshire Republican Primary with 36 percent. Texas Congressman Ron Paul is second place with 25 percent.
One week after a tough battle in Iowa, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, who dominated the polls, is the projected winner with 35 percent of the vote in the 2012 New Hampshire Republican Primary.
Texas Congressman Ron Paul, who also polled strongly in the latest surveys, is projected to garner second place with 25 percent. Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman is projected to place third with 17 percent of the vote.
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is currently tied for fourth place with former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. Both have garnered 10 percent of the vote. Texas Governor Rick Perry is in dead last with one percent.
Nearly a quarter of the counties are reporting the results. The former Massachusetts governor will take five delegates, while Paul took three delegates and Huntsman will attributed one delegate. According to CNN, exit polls suggest that 43 percent of Romney voters are individuals who earn more than $100,000. Meanwhile, 35 percent of people earning less than $30,000 voted for Paul. Furthermore, 30 percent of Independents casted a ballot for Paul and 45 percent of Republicans supported Romney.
