An Yanshi is a Chinese entrepreneur who plans on producing the world’s most expensive tea, which will have panda poo in it.
An Yanshi went out and bought 11 tons of panda poo. He bought it from a panda breeding center, and he plans to fertilize a tea crop in the mountains of Sichuan province, located in southwestern China. The mountains are also home to the white and black bears.
According to sources, Yanshi says that the tea will be sold at around $35,000 for 500 grams. The tea leaves will be harvested in spring of this year, according to Yanshi.
According to the Daily Mail, Yanshi is a lecturer at Sichuan University. He has been very busy gathering up panda droppings in order to create his product.
However, Yanshi keeps his method a secret but he reassures drinkers can expect the tea to have a nutty and mature taste.
According to the Telegraph, Yanshi firmly believes that the tea will be a big hit. Yanshi believes it so much that he patented his idea to prevent companies from stealing it.
Yanshi said that if the quality of the first batch is good, then he will expand his operations.
