It's tough work but some guy has to do it, has to go on down to the beach and get surronded by young women in bikinis who happen to adore him. No? Well whether someone HAS to do it or not that's what happens to Justin Bieber when he hits a beach.
And on Jan. 5, 2012 on Venice Beach in L.A. it wasn't any different. The Never Say Never Kid recently returned to his digs in L.A. from a Christmas in Canada and a New Year's Eve performance in New York with Carlos Santana. He went down to the beach to catch a few rays with father Jeremy Beiber and a friend but, alas, as luck would have it the pop star wound up spending more time with fans. Fans in bikinis.
Naturally Bieber is accustomed to the attention and pictures suggest he had no trouble leaving his Pa and friend to hang out with the girls for awhile, obilging them by taking photos and even giving out hugs. Selena Gomez was not there but the papparazzi were and snapped the photos of the group of girls and their surprise, and welcome, interloper.

As the Vancouver Sun reported Bieber was also showing off a new tatoo, a religious one. At only 17 he needs permission from a parent to get a tatoo but given his Dad is half-covered in them it's not an issue. The new tatoo is of Jesue and is on his lower left leg.
The Canadian singer is fresh off a bevy of events including a multitude of appearances on TV shows for the holidays and a special appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show where footage of his benefit concert at a school for needy kids in Las Vegas was shown. Upcoming events include continuing with the 'Believe' charity drive and getting away from the beach and back into the studio to work on his next studio album, also to be called Believe.
Besides hanging out with girls at the beach, the diminutive star did push-ups in the sand.
