Former Chicago Bulls basketball superstar and owner of NBA team Charlotte Bobcats Michael Jordan is now engaged and soon to be married for the second time.
The NBA legend, who was married to Juanita Vanoy for 17 years, has two sons and a daughter at the time of his divorce in 2006.
Jordan's girlfriend, Cuban-born model Yvette Prieto who is 16 years younger than the NBA legend, got her proposal from the Bobcats owner on Christmas eve. No wedding date has been set so far for the newly engaged couple.
The Cuban-American model was reportedly dating Julio Iglesias, Jr., the son of popular singer Julio Iglesias, who popularized the song, "To all the girls I've loved before", before she got engaged with Jordan.
Jordan, who by acclamation is "the greatest basketball player of all time." is likewise the most sought-after product endorser in the sport.
Jordan's major endorsements include such brands as Nike, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Gatorade, McDonald's, Ball Park Franks, Rayovac, Wheaties, Hanes, and MCI.
Jordan's Charlotte Bobcats has just won their opening night game against Milwaukee Bucks last December 26 at Time Warner Cable Arena with the final score of 96-95.
The team hopes to sustain their momentum from their initial win and will be taking on Orlando Magic on Friday and Miami Heat on Wednesday.
