By Kevin Fitzgerald     Dec 26, 2011 in Lifestyle
Seattle - During a recent trip to Washington State, I decided to bring my camera along and take a few pictures of some of the holiday festivities.
Christmastime in much of the Pacific Northwest is usually characterized by rainy weather with little to no snowfall. The days leading up to Christmas this year around the Seattle area were actually quite pleasant and dry with temperatures slightly above average.
Although I am now a resident of California, I am originally from Washington. Since I moved, I have gone back every year during Christmas to partake in the local holiday cheer.
The first group of pictures below were taken at the lights festival at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. The city of Bellevue lies just east of Seattle on the other side of Lake Washington.
