New York - To all of the single ladies: Did you know every time you wear sweats in public, men turn their heads away and run? This was the message delivered by Piperlime, an online retailer owned by the GAP.
The cringeworthy news first appeared on coffee sleeves all over the city, and dissmayingly ad read: "Every time you wear sweatpants in public, a single guy leaves New York."
Piperlime, which clearly targets female consumers with its line of women's wear and shoes, has not yet responded to the public's response.
But this, of course, did not stop many from taking to Twitter about it. The popular social media site gathered an array of reactions, including these:
