A FedEx worker was caught on camera tossing a fragile package over a fence.
The delivery item, a computer monitor, can be seen in the video being lifted up and tossed over the black iron fence.
Where the monitor landed was not visible, however the rest of the footage was caught by a security camera mounted near the gate.
The 21-second video, which has gone viral on YouTube, shows a FedEx delivery man unloading a large package off his delivery van, carrying the parcel towards a residence and hoisting it over the gate.
He does not attempt to ring a bell, give a shout, or even gently place the electronic down.
Little did he know all of this was captured on video and, at the time of writing, has been viewed by close to 650,000 viewers on YouTube.
The YouTube video was uploaded yesterday by a user listed as goobie55,. Where he lives was not noted.
Goobie55 writes, "Here is a video of my monitor being "delivered". The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate. Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken."
Neither the recipient of the delivery nor the FedEx worker have been identified at this time.
Perhaps the guy was having a rough day with holiday deliveries, as today was reportedly the last day for senders to take advantage of the FedEx Super Saver, but probably wasn't the busiest day. FedEx had long anticipated Green Monday, which was Dec. 12, to be the busiest day this year.
In 2007 a FedEx worker was caught on camera dropping a printer, taking a tumble, standing up and looking around to see if anyone was watching. In that incident the package drop appears to be an accident, unlike the footage Goobie55 caught.
