The National League of Junior Cotillions (NLJC) have named Kim kardashian the "Most Ill-Mannered" person of the year 2011. National director Elizabeth Anne Winters, said celebrities were ranked based on "demonstration of dignity, honor and respect."
While NLJC, described by Daily Mail as "Creme de la creme" of southern belles, named Kim Kardashian "Most Ill-Mannered" person of the year, they named Kate Middleton the "Best-Mannered" person of the year." Middleton, newly wed to Prince William, topped the list of "Ten Best-Mannered People of 2011." She was praised for "the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight."
RadarOnline reports that the NLJC ("debutantes of the South") are not the only ones who think Kardashian has "neither class nor breeding." According to RadarOnline, her former husband's family are surprised that Kris Humphrey fell for her in the first place. A member of the family told RadarOnline: "We expressed concern to him about his relationship with Kim. We were quite surprised that it was as serious as it was with them. But he was just taken away by her, and you can't tell someone in love to open their eyes a little wider. He just saw what he wanted to see."
Kris's family members say Kris was genuinely in love with Kim and thought they would have a long marriage together but even before the honeymoon was over signs of trouble were already evident in the "fairytale marriage."
According to the family member who spoke to RadarOnline, "It was really hard on Kris that Kim and her family weren't very accepting to his side of the family, or very welcoming to them."
Kris Humphrey himself has said that Kim's reality shows are fake and that nothing about her and her show is real.
NLJC criticized Kim Kardashian for "making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage."
According to the National director of NLJC, Cotillion students and directors nationwide nominated individuals to be considered.
