Paris Jackson admits wearing a mask made her feel 'stupid'

By Christopher Bates     Dec 14, 2011 in Entertainment
Following her first solo interview, Michael Jackson's daughter Paris admitted that she felt stupid when her father forced her to wear a mask as a child.
During the interview for this Thursday's edition of the Ellen DeGeneres show, the 13-year-old shared many feelings regarding her and her brothers' childhood.
She said: "I'm like, 'This is stupid, why am I wearing a mask?' But I kind of realised the older I got that he only tried to protect us. He'd explain that to us too."
Although Michael had Paris home schooled to protect her from global attention, she is now attending Buckley School in Los Angeles whilst having a "normal childhood".
She added: "When I came to Buckley (School) they didn't know who I was. I was like, 'yes, I have a chance to be normal.'"
It was recently confirmed that Paris will star in Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys - a film set to be released in 2013.
"My dad was in the movie Moonwalker. I saw that and said, 'Wow, I want to be just like him.' We would do improv together. He would give us little scenarios. He'd say, 'OK, in this scene you're going to cry' and I'd cry on the spot," explained Paris.
Paris, Prince (14) and Blanket (nine) are currently in the care of their 81-year-old grandma, Katherine.
