According to
Toronto Sun, Rivera was arrested by East Orange police on Friday, on manslaughter charges and unauthorized practice of medicine leading to the death of her patient, identified as Justin street.
Street died of a fatal blood clot on May 6, the day after the surgery.
According to
NJ.com, the medical examiner determined that the cause of the death of Street was silicone embolism (that is, a blood clot), after the surgery performed in Rivera's home.
