'My Tram Experience' woman charged as similar video hits YouTube

By Christopher Bates     Nov 29, 2011 in Internet
Croydon - Following the shocking "My Tram Experience" video which has been circulating the Internet over the past few days, Emma West - a 34-year-old mother from New Addington, London - has been charged.
The video - which shows West making racial remarks towards several people on a tram in Croydon - has already received over 3 million views on YouTube, and has also caused a lot of upset throughout the United Kingdom.
Following an investigation by the British Transport Police, which was launched earlier this week, a spokesman said: "I can confirm that Emma West (34) of New Addington was charged with Racially Aggravated Section 4a on Monday."
"She was remanded in custody overnight and is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates Court later (today, Tuesday 29 November)."
"This is in relation to an incident onboard a Croydon Tramlink."
You can watch the video through my previous article, however, please watch at your own discretion as it contains explicit language and racial content that may be considered offensive.
Another video was also uploaded to YouTube yesterday, although it has yet to receive similar attention. It's said that the woman was on a train from London to Manchester.
Once again, please watch at your own discretion.
