In a report from Daily Mail, the 5-foot-8 partner of Brad Pitt now just weighs 97 pounds and is only consuming around 600 daily calories. The source says that her family and friends started to get worried about how she quickly loses her appetite.
The report quoted
the source, "The worrying thing is that she is so busy, she often forgets to eat. Sometimes she'll skip lunch altogether or will just grab a few almonds and some gummy bears while she's on the go, or will have a protein-based shake rather than anything more substantial. Then dinner could be something like a lean steak and a glass of red wine."
The source mentioned that Brad and everyone around have been telling her to eat more. "Everyone has been begging her to eat more and she is trying not to get any skinnier, but unfortunately she just doesn't seem to be putting on any more weight."
In a report from Perez Hilton, it was said
that the A-list star's appalling lean frame was also caused by taking high-energy diet pills to keep up with demands of her work and family life. “She’s burning the candle at both ends – juggling career demands with her humanitarian work and trying to keep up with her rambunctious kids. Angie believes the pills give her energy to help her get through the day."
The insider adds, "Angie starts her day with a double espresso and drinks coffee until bedtime. She sucks on candy for a speed rush, and instead of eating balanced meals, she picks at the kids’ food. Brad begs her to eat, but she’s go, go, go all the time and doesn’t listen to him."
The actress has always spoken about her slender frame and said she doesn't have the biggest of appetite. There were reports also of her particular "food habits" and her varying dietary requirements. It was said that she would sometimes request the same type of food for days.
"There was time she was obsessed with soup. Light soups that didn’t have a cream base – that became the constant request,” said the insider
Jolie has said in her past interviews that her physique has "always been lean" and there's nothing unusual in her weight.
The Academy Award winner will soon release her directorial debut based on a Bosnian war love story, "In the Land of Blood and Honey," scheduled for U.S. release on Dec. 23.
