article imageSchwarzenegger bruised and battered in film shooting incident

By Leo Reyes     Nov 18, 2011 in Entertainment
Actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been reported bruised, bloodied and battered in a film shooting incident in Albuquerque, Mexico
On his Twitter account, Schwarzenegger thanked his medical staff who got him back to action. He sent a photo of his bruised forehead.
"Got a little banged up on set today. Thanks to the medical staff who got me back in action an hour later!"
Schwarzenegger has returned to acting after stepping down as Governor of California with the movie "The Last Stand" as his come-back film.
The movie is about a small town sheriff trying to stop a notorious drug cartel leader on the run. A source describe it as an old-fashioned western-style film designed for the 64-year-old ex-Governor.
Schwarzenegger originated the ominous line "I'll be back" in the first "Terminator" film in 1984, and it has become his trademark phrase for all occasions.
Last May, the former governor said he was putting on hold his movie come back plans to focus on his personal and family problems.
This was followed by an announcement about the TV animated series "The Governator" being shelved for the same reason.
Schwarzenegger was reported to have been offered $40 Million to appear in two "Terminator" movies but on July 11, the actor's spokesman only confirmed his role in the "Last Stand."
