Three dead and many injured in Sydney care home fire

Sydney - At least three elderly people have been killed following a fire at a care home in Sydney in the early hours of the morning.
Emergency services were called to a care home for the elderly in Quaker Hill, Sydney at about 5am on Friday (November 18) morning.
A rescue operation, involving ambulance, police and firefighers, was conducted to evacuate the 100 elderly residents from with in the home.
Police say that 20 residents were taken to hospital for treatment. Three people have been confirmed dead.
All 100 residents were brought out of the home and the fire was extinguished by firefighters from the New South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
The cause of the blaze is, as yet, unknown and specialist police are now on scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
